Jaipur is the Capital city of Rajasthan named after the Kachhwaha ruler Maharaja Jai Singh II. Maharaja Jai Singh II took the architectural guidance of Vidyadhar Bhattacharya and planned the city on the principles of Vastu Shastra and Shilpa Shastra. The City was founded in 1727 AD which was divided into nine blocks, Out of Nine blocks Seven were allocated to the Public and two were having Palaces & State Buildings. It is rich in culture and Heritage. The City was painted in Pink Colour to welcome the Prince of Wales, later Edward VII in 1876 AD. Jaipur is also called as Pink City. .

1- Tickets to view Taj Mahal at night can only be purchased 24 hours in advance. Please provide me your legal documents to book the Ticket for Moonlight visit of tajmahal.
2- A scanned copy of Valid Passport.
3- A Scanned copy of Valid Visa to India.
4- Name and address of hotel/ Guest House in Agra where you will be staying and how long.
5- Name and address of Hotel/ Guest house of your stay prior to arriving in Agra.
6- Your home address, cell phone or home number/s.
7- Valid e-mail address and cell number.
8- The cost of ticket and handling fee is $ 31.00 cash / cheque/online transfer only.
at least five days prior to arrival in Agra.
9- On your request tickets can be delivered to your hotel,at the expenses of $ 5.00 at the place of your stay/Hotel.
10- You may collect the ticket from our Agra office on the day of visit or one day prior to visit.
11- The tickets are non transferable.
12- Ticket and fees are non refundable.
13-The night viewing ticket can be cancelled at the Booking counter of ASI at 22 The Mall Road, Agra on the same date of viewing upto 12.00 p.m.with cancellation charge of 25% on the Ticket

Security Precautions:

Tourists can view the Taj Mahal from a distance of 500 m, from a nearby red sandstone platform. Tourists are permitted to carry still cameras for photography and binoculars for viewing. With limited access, the Taj is now open for five nights each month for nighttime viewing around the full moon nights. The total number of visitors is restricted to 400 each night. Only 50 visitors in five batches are allowed at a time for 30 minutes each between 2030 hrs to 0030 hrs.
